Information We Collect

CannaPal is a local-first application. The information you enter — including plant records, logs, photos, schedules, seed bank entries, and notes — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to this information, and we cannot see it.

• No account required. You do not create an account or sign in to use CannaPal, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or login credentials.
• No analytics or tracking. CannaPal does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that profile you, and it does not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• No location collection. CannaPal does not collect or transmit your device's location.
• Photos. Any photos you attach to your records are stored locally on your device as part of your app data and are not uploaded to us.

Purchases

CannaPal offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (“Pro”) processed by the Google Play Store. When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Google. We do not collect or store your payment information; we receive only the confirmation needed to unlock the purchased features on your device. Google's handling of your payment information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Data You Export

CannaPal lets you create backup files of your data and restore them on your devices. These backup files are created and stored wherever you choose to save them (for example, your device storage or a cloud drive you control). We do not receive a copy of your backups, and how they are stored is subject to the privacy practices of whatever service you use to store them.

How Your Information Is Used

Because your data stays on your device, it is used solely to provide the app's features to you — displaying your records, calculating schedules and reminders, and showing your history. We do not sell, rent, or share your data, because we do not have access to it.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, CannaPal schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on your device and are not routed through our servers.

Children's Privacy

CannaPal is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Control Over Your Data

Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control of it. You can delete your data at any time from within the app, or by uninstalling the app, which removes its locally stored data from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our applications after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
