CannaPal includes a set of grower’s calculators and reference tools so you don’t have to reach for a separate app or a notepad mid-task. You’ll find them in the Tools section (available in Advanced view).
The calculators
CannaPal’s core calculators cover the everyday math of an indoor (or any) grow:
- DLI (Daily Light Integral) — work out how much light your plants are actually getting over a day.
- VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) — find the sweet spot between temperature and humidity for healthy transpiration.
- EC / PPM converter — translate between the different units meters use to report nutrient strength, so your numbers always line up.
- Nutrient calculator — a multi-fertilizer reservoir formulator. Pick your products and target levels, enter your reservoir size, and it works out the resulting nutrient concentrations.
These are free for every grower — they’re part of CannaPal’s core toolkit.
Feed charts
If you follow a manufacturer’s feed schedule (or your own), you can store feed chart images right in CannaPal and pull them up whenever you’re mixing. Add a chart, and it’s saved locally for quick reference.
Inspecting a chart
Feed charts are often dense, so the chart viewer supports pinch-to-zoom and drag-to-pan — zoom in on the exact week or product you need, and a double-tap toggles a quick zoom. There’s a reset button to snap back to the full view.
The built-in calculator
The chart viewer also has a calculator built right in, so you can do your dosing math without leaving the chart. It has two modes:
- Calculator — a standard four-function calculator (add, subtract, multiply, divide) for quick arithmetic.
- Dose — a reservoir-dose helper. Enter your reservoir size and the per-unit dose for each nutrient, and it totals everything up. You can work in mL, grams, teaspoons, tablespoons, or ounces, whichever your chart and measuring tools use.
A handy touch: in Dose mode, tapping a calculated total sends it over to the Calculator so you can keep working the number.
Where to go next
